The 4th Forum for promoting peace in the Muslim communities launched on Monday, December 11, 2017 in the United Arab Emirates under the theme “Global Peace and Islamophobia:. Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, under the leadership of Sheikh Abdullah Bin Bih, and the presence of 700 scholars and religious scholars from around the world.
The forum, which is hosted by the UAE capital Abu Dhabi, aims to discuss the dangers that storm global peace and the possibility of ending the conflicts that threaten the future of mankind on earth.
The Forum seeks to consolidate a culture of tolerance and promote peace, especially in the context of breaking the cycle of suspicion and fear and intimidation of Islam and Muslims in more than one part of the world.
“The UAE has presented a pioneering model in spreading the values of peace and tolerance,” said Bishop Ermia, head of Coptic OrthodoxCultural Center. His Eminence added: “The unique initiative of establishing the Ministry of Tolerance carries a pioneering vision of the UAE that must be emulated by different countries in the world.
