Bishop Ermia attends the opening of International “Sama3″ Festival

Columnist Helmy Al Nimnim, Minister of Culture, attended The 9th round of International Sama3 Festival for Spiritual Music & Chanting opening, yesterday evening, at Joseph well theater in Saladin Citadel, which is organized by the Cultural Development Fund sector, headed by Dr. Nevin Kilani, in cooperation with the Foreign Cultural Relations Sector, headed by Dr. Ayman Abdel Hadi.

The festival was attended by Dr. Ashraf El-Arabi, Minister of planning, Dr. Ghada Wali, Minister of social solidarity, Hassan Khlaf, Head of Minister of culture office sector, HG Bishop Ermia General Bishop, head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center and  Assistant Secretary-General of the Egyptian Family House, a large number of ambassadors, journalists and media professionals, and a huge crowd of audience.

The festival began its activities, with an art show of all the teams participating in the festival under the leadership of artist Intisar Abdel Fattah, founder and president of the festival and with the participation of 20 countries.

The festival honored a number of public figures, including Dr. Ali Gomaa, former Grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Mahmoud Hamdi Zaqzouq, Secretary General of the Egyptian family house, Bishop Moussa, bishop of youth, late Sheikh Mustafa Ismail, late teacher Fahim Gerges Rizk, Dr. Ali El Samman, the great vocalist Abdul Qadir El-Maraashly “Syria.

Last year the festival honored HG Bishop Ermia with a number of public figures.
