On life (120) – ”Bounteous Giving” – 3/4/2016

   Life is full of sadness and tribulation which all human beings encounter. Sometimes they might stumble and feel too hopeless to go on. However, we should remember that the darkest hour does precede dawn: for through your tribulations, you will surely find someone who helps and strengthens you. This is someone loving, kindhearted and fond of giving. He also believes that if your talents are fully utilized, you will realize your dreams. Despite the fact that people cannot forget their pain, they continue to remember those glimpses of light that helped them go on and work diligently.

   When Alexander the Great was asked about the thing he was most pleased with, he answered, “My ability to reward those who were good to me with more than they gave me.” The Emperor’s focus was not directed toward his moments of weakness. Rather, it was aimed at the people who were good to him, which was why he achieved all that glory which was not just ascribed to him, but to them as well. To him, power was exchanged with ‘ability’. He was able to exchange his painful memories that could have led him to cruelty with persons who gave him love.

   Some people think that power is a compensation for times of weakness, while others believe that it is a positive energy that enables them to inspire people with hope.

   But, are people aware that the hope they dream of needs the strength which supports good doing within them? Are they aware that happiness is not an individual thing, but a collective one? Do you remember the bounteous givers of your life to whom you resorted amidst your pain and misery? If you answer in the affirmative, then you are a faithful person who learns the wisdom of life and the true meaning of strength from God.

   Do not dwell on sad moments. Do not forget those who supported you and gave you everything abundantly. Always remember that your strength is but mover for bounteous love and giving. These are the things people will remember about you.
