A number of media personnel and politicians have issued a statement, renouncing the events unfolding in the Middle East, in terms of religious conflicts, territorial terrorism of unprecedented proportions.
They emphasized the dire necessity of preserving national unity in Egypt, considering it a red line for Egypt’s existence and national security.
According to the Al-Bedaya newspaper, they sense the imminent danger posed in the region, in light of a frightful territorial situation, with unprecedented persecution of the area’s Christians, thus they requested a stop to any attempts to incite sectarian strife between Christians and Muslims, exploiting it as a means of political pressure.
