On Wednesday evening, November, 28, 2018, His Grace Bishop Moussa, the Bishop of Youth and His Grace Bishop Ermia, the General Bishop and Head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center inaugurated the Sixth Coptic Orthodox Book Fair for the publishing houses of the monasteries and dioceses in Egypt and abroad, under the patronage of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II.
During the fair events, the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center prepared a section for its books and the Center’s monthly magazine.
During the inauguration of the fair, His Grace Bishop Moussa, the Bishop of Youth, asserted that he is glad at the distinctive participation of the fair’s events, pointing out that it is a chance to exchange experiences and to present all the new book editions concerned about the service, the family, the youth and the society, in addition to the legacy books and the fathers’ teachings.
His Grace Bishop Moussa said that the current fair is the sixth consecutive one to be held under the patronage of the Bishopric of Youth, highlighting the importance of knowledge and culture for all factions, especially the youth which faces currently several challenges that require awareness and proper guidance.
It is planned that the fair will continue until December 12, at the hall of St. Athanasius the Apostolic, below the Cathedral of St. Mark in Abbasiya.
