He said, “You spoke of mercy and feeling for others and the child who received love and mercy from his friends who shared him their food in happiness that surrounded them all. But Is there a great happiness in giving? I answered; Of course, I will not clarify this according to a religious or ethical approach only
In a television interview with Tony Robbins, a US self-development writer and spokesman who was mentioned in Forbes magazine’s “Celebrity 100” list, he said that research has produced unexpected results about the relationship of giving with happiness. The results of one of the studies concludes, not as some of us believe, that when the human income doubled, his happiness multiplied by the fact that doubling the physical income leads to an increase of the average human feeling of happiness by only 9%!
Then the study clarifies another part about “How to spend money”, so Robbins says that spending 5 dollars right is better than spending ten thousand dollars in an improper way. First: when you spend money on things, your happiness decreases at the time, while spending it on the experiments in a specific field can emotionally affect the chemistry of your body on a large scale. Second, if you soend it on things that save money and help you get rid of hard work, for example, by hiring another person to do it, while you enjoy your free decision on what you want to do, then this will increase your happiness to a great level. As for the ultimate happiness, that people may think it is unreal, it is biochemically correct when it comes in the image of an investment in humans: meaning “giving others money”.
I saw signs of wonder on his features, then muttered wonderingly: How is that?!
I said: Some may think it’s a personal view or exaggerated words, but the figures show that, for example, when you buy something like a food or drink for a stranger, you feel much happier than buying the same for yourself or a friend.
The happiest people we have met in life are not the ones who own the most money, but they are the most generous of all. The feelings created by giving in human beings are endless! Someone said, “In life, you either have control over your money or it will control you! If you can control it, then you can learn, grow and give; money is not everything; because you may have a lot of it, but still you remain selfish, money will only increase what you actually are, if you are selfish, earning more money won’t increase anything but your selfishness! But if you know how to give, you will offer more, hence lead a wonderful life.”
My friend, giving is a true evocation of our heart feelings, from which happiness springs and gives us power to achieve more success in our lives.”Robbins” wrote in one of his books a story that recounts the following… to be continued
