I wish a happy Easter to all of you, the Christians of the East are celebrating it today.
Through the resurrection, man has realized that death is no longer the end; when our ancestors Adam and Eve sinned and disobeyed the commandment of God, they were sentenced to death: “You shall surely die”. Thus, death entered the world and pervaded all human beings, man lived terrified of death, which he considered the end of life. Then the resurrection came to confirm the reality of life after death, and to give people hope that death is no longer but a passage to another endless life, and the belief that “Lord Christ” in His resurrection broke the sting of death and triumphed over the dominance of the Hades, as St. Paul the Apostle expressed that with the question of denunciation: “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” In the resurrection, death became a bridge over which the human soul crosses into eternity. The destiny of eternity is man’s harvest of what he sowed in the days of his life on earth; if what he sowed was good, he would reap eternal happiness, but if it is evil, he has no destiny but eternal death.
