Anba Ermia, General Bishop and head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center received on Thursday, March 2, 2017, three Pontiffs from the Syriac church their Eminences, Archbishop George Saliba, Archbishop Daniel Korea and Archbishop Matta Khoury and His Eminence Archbishop Sebouh Sarkissian Archbishop of the Armenian Church in Lebanon.
Anba Ermia accompanied them on a tour at the Center as they visited the Patriarchal Museum, Coptic Panorama and sanctuary of Libya Martyrs and “al-Botrosya” St. Peter church martyrs.
After the visit, Bishop Ermia and His Eminence Archbishop George Saliba of the Syriac church held the Divine Liturgy at Resurrection Church at the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center.
His Eminence Archbishop George Saliba also met Metropolitan Bishoy of Damietta at the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center
This visit come on the sidelines of the Pontiffs participation in international conference organized by Al-Azhar and the Council of Elders of the Muslims entitled “freedom and citizenship,” which was concluded on Wednesday, March 1, 2017.
