Under the patronage of His Holiness Pope Twadharos II Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the see of Saint Mark and his partner in the apostolic service HG Anba Ermia, General Bishop and head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, held on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, a honoring ceremony for Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat President of Ain Shams University for his appointment president of the university, and to offer thanks and gratitude to a number of professor, consultants and doctors involved in the treatment of the Petrine Church bombing victims.
The ceremony began with the national anthem of the Arab Republic of Egypt, followed by a number of speeches.
The Ceremony was concluded with a documentary film of the damage of the Petrine Church and all the stages of restoration by the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, which took less than 15 days as Mr. President President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi promised, and at the end of the ceremony Anba Ermia and Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat honored the heads of departments, consultants and doctors for their efforts and excellence in the treatment and follow up of the Petrine church bombing wounded.
