On Wednesday, August 6, 2023, the Academy of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center celebrated the graduation of the second batch of Summer School for 2023 summer, under the patronage and presence of His Grace Bishop Ermia, General Bishop and Head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center.
The ceremony included a variety of activities carried out by children throughout the summer months, including choral performances that included hymns and praises in Arabic, English, French and Coptic. The children also performed a group of poems written by His Holiness Pope Shenouda III on the celebration of the centenary of His Holiness’ birth and Nayrouz Feast.
The ceremony also included a scientific experiments section for the science subject that the children studied during the summer, and a skills development section in which teams of parents participated in an atmosphere of fun and joy. The children also presented a “Mime” show.
At the conclusion of the celebration, His Grace Bishop Ermia thanked all those who participated in Summer School for their effort and toil with the children throughout the summer, and took souvenir photos with them and the children after distributing gifts to them.
