Akmal Qertam, President of the Conservative Party said, “The party is about to present a memorandum to the prime minister regarding the appointment of 54 thousand youths in the local councils across the country, for a year, and up till the localities law is amended and local council elections are held.
He added in his statement “In light of the party’s endorsement of the idea of localities for youths, it will present a number of youths who are qualified and trained, whose appointment is suggested for local councils, and they are 5000 Coptic youths and 5000 women and 5000 young “special needs” laborers.
He followed on, “Absorbing youths in localities and involving them in political and service work will help prosper the homeland, and effective participation in local administration, and removing barriers facing citizens, especially with the country in dire need of injecting young blood into its administrative authorities to keep up with total reform operations of the country’s facilities on the one hand and on the other, building up human cadres both politically and administratively.
