The difference between a successful and not successful person is will. Man’s will is the greatest secret of his motivation toward success. Lack of will keeps person’s life without any progress whatsoever. Some own knowledge and power yet they wait for the chance to come , while those who have strong will are not the same as they are swimming to reach the ship and don’t lose their time waiting for it.
What empowers a person’s will?
A person is motivated when he has a goal. We launch enthusiastically life if we have a reason to live it. Those who enjoy a strong will have a goal and a desire that turned to be a motivation to step forward toward this goal. Be honest with yourself; Do you have a goal to live for? If your answer is no, then stop doing whatever you are doing right now and start setting up a goal for your life. A goal you seek will empower your will and motivate you to put all your efforts in. Existence of a goal will give you the sense of challenge you need to get over the difficulties and obstacles you face as you will be picturing it all the time. Always repeat these words: “I am bound and determined to achieve success, I either succeed or succeed”.
A goal may be the greatest motivation to work hard with willpower. However, will gains that power through another element which is patience. Our hope and dreams take time to be achieved. Thus, your lifetime should be the reason of enhancing your patience to reach your dreams. Don’t let despair sneaks into your life. Great ships had been sunk due to small holes. As the saying goes, “People don’t reach gardens of success without passing by stops of failure and depression.”Thus, don’t let your regret last. Never give up to failure or exhaustion; let them be the fuel of your success. This is how all the successful are thinking. I can’t forget words of H.H Pope Shenouda iii , when he said, “Don’t let distress break you, rather break it by your faith. If glass falls on a rock, it will break; be like a rock not glass”. Life is not easy and there is no success without toiling. If we check history, we will find that all success stories have happened by blood and sweat and through willpower. Indeed, “Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.” – Mahatma Gandhi
