Anonymous torch Copts plantations in “El-Karam” village in Minya

Unidentified persons torched the planting of a number of Copts “victims in the recent strife incident” in El-Karam village in Abo Qorkas, and the civil defense men controled the fire which lasted for more than two hours

Human rights activist Izzat Ibrahim, director of the Egyptian Center for Human Rights said that the center received a complaint of the occurrence of a massive fire that lasted from 1:30 am to 4:30 am in the land of both Wagih Qassed and Fadl Saad who were ones of the Coptic victims in the famous incident that occurred in the village, Ibrahim, added that the fire destroyed eight thousand sack of bran and font of hay , fodders and Agriculture supplies as well as some of the straws.

Activist, said the incident was extremely regrettable as it remind us of what happened with the Copts of El-Galaa when they tried to build a church there as their lands were continuously damaged without the arrest of the perpetrators . Perpetrators must be quickly arrested  to stop things from getting worse and stop predators of our country linking these events with precedent events and promote that this a punishment for Copts for refusing to come to terms in previous incidents.
