Armed men usurp land worth 2 million pounds belonging to a Copt in Assiut

The newspaper Veto has highlighted the usurping of land belonging to a Copt in Bashteel in the province of Assiut, which is 272 meters valued at 2 million pounds and more, as in recent times, we’ve witnessed the spread of armed gangs of thugs and outlaws, targeting land belonging to Copts, usurping them under armed threats. The paper added that those groups are affiliated to the extremist Islamic movement, which is aiming to take over Copts’ trade and lands, instilling terror in their souls. Families have called on President Abd Al-Fattah Al-Seesy to intervene officially to save the situation and enable them to regain their lands.
