We previously tackled the issue of peace and its importance. I want to stress on the positive impact of peace on man’s life .As if one feels inner peace, he would adopt a positive, ambitious vision of the future. Today, I would like to explore the issue of losing peace and its sufferable outcomes. Absence of peace is enthused by many negative emotions that lead to running one’s life. Moreover, insecurity threatens those who lost their peace and they become a prey for worry and fear.
One recalls a story of some children who lost their families in World War II. At their first night in a shelter, they couldn’t sleep after having their dinner. It turned out that they were feeling insecure and afraid to fall asleep lest they wake up to find out they have no food same as the past time of war. Thus, those who were in charge of the shelter decided to give them a leaf of bread in their hands while asleep. Thus, each of them would be assured that he would found their tomorrow’s portion of food. Only then, they managed to sleep peacefully.
You may not experience these feelings the same way, however losing peace would automatically lead to loss of security and trust in the coming future that would turn to gloomy lines hiding the brightness of everyday’s hope. Insecurities will also attack your feelings toward your closed persons. You may lose your trust in them and resort to aggressive behaviors to hide that feeling; a natural self-defense that humans resort to when feeling insecure.
Loss of peace plunges man down a deep well of depression. He would feel that all the works of his hand would doom to an unsuccessful end. They eventually give up for that feeling that would drive them to endless cycles of failure and distrust of themselves and their abilities to serve the world.”Know from whence you came. If you know whence you came, there are absolutely no limitations to where you can go.” Are we heading to the way of achieving our dreams or to an endless route of depression? If we don’t know where we are heading to, we would not achieve any positive result. Peace helps us to pause for a little time and evaluate our behaviors, attitudes and thoughts realistically.
Peace will reign over our hearts, if we trust in God who gifted us with ever-lasting inner peace. Thus, you would be able to bring about peace to those around you and positively seek to achieve a bright future for you and your country.
