Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abidin, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, a delegation from “Students for Egypt” and the Student Union of Ain Shams University visited H.G. Anba Ermia, General Bishop and Head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center and Assistant Secretary-General of the Egyptian Family House, as well as the Coptic community, to extend Christmas greetings, wishing that God may return it to Egypt and its people with goodness, love, and peace. The visit took place at St. Mark’s Cathedral in Abbasiya.
This visit reflects Ain Shams University and its Education and Student Affairs sector’s commitment to strengthening ties of cooperation and understanding, contributing to building a cohesive society founded on love and peace. It also expresses appreciation for H.G. Anba Ermia, highlighting his close relationship with the university and his constant acknowledgment of its leading role and national contributions in building the country.
For his part, H.G. Anba Ermia expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the University leadership and the students of “Students for Egypt,” praising the university and its students for their pioneering national role in serving the community and fostering brotherhood and national solidarity among the Egyptian people.
At the conclusion of the visit, H.G. Anba Ermia was presented with the “Students for Egypt” shield at Ain Shams University, in recognition of his national and societal contributions and his efforts to support the values of citizenship and national unity.
