The Diocese of Damietta and Kafr El-Sheikh and the Monastery of Saint Damiana in AlBrary held a major celebration to mark the 44th anniversary of the ordination of our beloved Metropolitan HG Bishop, by late Pope Shenouda III.
The ceremony was attended by HG Bishop Ermia, General Bishop and head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, HG Bishop Daoud, Bishop of Mansoura and related areas, HG Bishop Salib, Bishop of Mit Ghamr and related areas, HG Bishop Karas, HG Bishop of Mahalla and related areas, Father Makary Gabriel secreatry of St. George Monastery in Mitt Damsis, Professor Gerges Saleh Secretary-General of the Churches of the Middle East Council, a large number of priests from Damietta, Mansoura, Mahalla, Mit Ghamr and Prairie, and in the presence of a large number of religious and executive leaders and large number of worshipers and His Eminence Metropolitan Bishoy fans.
HG Bishop Ermia, HG Bishop Daoud, Professor Gerges anda large number of monastery lovers Muslims and Christians delivered speeches. St. Demiana monastery, Belqas and Damietta choirs also participated in the celebration, and commemorative gifts were distributed, and the ceremony was presented by Rev.
