His Grace Bishop Ermia, General Bishop, Head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center and Assistant Secretary General of the Egyptian Family House, asserted that national dialogue is the path towards progress, understanding and prosperity of nations and societies as it demonstrates the highest levels of wide horizons to build nations through the exchange of information and experiences and offering solutions, in compliance with Islam teachings: “who (conduct) their affairs by mutual Consultation” and Christian teachings as well: “Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another”, noting that the Egyptian Family House in Al-Sharqiya was approved to launch the first events of its dialogue sessions today, which is a real opportunity for all the Egyptians to renew Egypt’s vitality and blood and face all local, regional and international challenges.
The General Bishop, Head of the Coptic Cultural Center and Assistant Secretary-General of the Egyptian Family House added that the national dialogue is a means to put aside all causes of division and schism. Therefore, we call on all society segments with their different orientations to rally towards the issues of the homeland and participate in a dialogue based on truth, justice, equality and tolerance and to reject the causes of division in order to be able to come out with a fruitful and effective dialogue.
This came during His Grace’s participation in the launch of the events of the first dialogue sessions of the Egyptian Family House in Al-Sharqiya titled (Egypt’s Youth Dialogue) on Monday, July 25, 2022. The events are organized by Al-Sharkiya Governorate in cooperation with the Youth Committee of the Executive Council of the Egyptian Family House in response to the President’s call to launch a comprehensive national dialogue with all political and youth forces to address the issues of the homeland. The events were attended by Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Governor of Al-Sharkiya, Dr. Mohammed Abu Zaid Al-Amir, Vice President of Al-Azhar University and General Coordinator of the Egyptian Family House, Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Moati and Engineer Lubna Abdel-Aziz, the two deputies of the Governor, Dr. Youssef Al-Wardani, Assistant Minister of Youth and member of the National Dialogue Committee, and Professor Saad Al-Farmawy, General Secretary, Major General Al-Saeed Abdel-Moati, the national expert for local development, His Grace Bishop Makar, Bishop of the Eastern Diocese and the Tenth of Ramadan City, Dr. Aida Attia, Rapporteur of the National Council for Women’s branch in Al-Sharqiya, Dr. Mosaad Owais, Rapporteur of the Youth Committee at the Egyptian Family House, and Father Priest Ermia Makram, Assistant Rapporteur of the Youth Committee at The Egyptian Family House and Dr. Saeed Amer, Head of the Family House in Al-Sharqiya, besides Dr. Ahmed Abdel Qader, Secretary General of the Egyptian Family House in Al-Sharqiya, Dr. Ihab Wahba, member of the Board of Trustees of the Egyptian Family House in Al-Sharqiya, Dr. Nahed Abdel Hamid, director and founder of the Hanager Forum at the Ministry of Culture, members of the Youth Committee of the Egyptian Family House and representatives of my directorates (Awqaf – Youth and Sports), Al-Azhar and the Church And the branch of the National Council for Women in the meeting room of the General Court.
