Church warns of «al-Arish families» donation deception and open an officiall account to receive donations

The Coptic Orthodox Church has warned of fraudsters who ask for donations on behalf of Christian families of El-Arish, to help them after they fled from northern Sinai, after being targeted by terrorist groups that killed 7 Copts in February.

The church announced the opening of a formal bank account, named Anba Seraphim, account number 1069241 at Union National Bank to receive financial donations and help expatriate of North Sinai families, and transfer and deposit money from inside and outside Egypt, pointing out that they did not commissioned anyone to collect any donations, whether financial or in-kind.
